subject | Support for attaching files to a bug report | |||

what happened | ||||
what expected | It should be possible to attach a certain number of files to a bug, and it should be possible to look directly at these files from the web interface if they are text files. It should also be possible to download these attached files individually, or all together as an archive.
This would replace the "code" field with something clearly better, especially when the code doesn't fit in a single file. |

I would not replace the code field entirely, because all our existing compiler bug reports use it and it seems to be sufficient in most cases.
But I agree about additional files, and the possibility to download all / one. I would tend to restrict this to text (scala) files though (so one day we might have syntax checking or automatic compilation). |
