| what expected | as discussed in meeting 2003-09-29, we need a "nightly" or "latest" distribution, which is not officially supported. This should pass the nightly test.
the reason is continuous integration of bugfixes and being able to supply students with a bugfixed version quickly. |

It seems nobody seems to agree to this, despite the fact that every open source project has a nightly build available.

It turns out that a "nightly" release is indispensable.
People developing servlets in Scala are depending on the latest Scala runtime. |
